No shopper accounts

There is no customer login on this site and no password of yours for us to keep. Your wishlist and your enquiry bag are held by your own browser on your own device — they are not sent to us and we cannot see them. Clearing your browser data clears them, and they do not follow you to another device.

What we use it for

Only to answer your enquiry, confirm and deliver your order, handle any claim afterwards, and keep the records a business is required to keep. We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing.

The one place your details necessarily go is the courier: a delivery address and a contact number have to be on the parcel for it to reach you.

Services this site relies on

• WhatsApp

  Every order and enquiry is handled in a WhatsApp chat. Messaging us means your message and phone number are processed by WhatsApp under its own terms.

• Cloudinary

  Our saree photographs are stored and delivered by Cloudinary, an image hosting service. Your browser requests images from it in order to display this site.

• Google Analytics

  We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages they read and which sarees they look at. It sets cookies in your browser and reports to us in aggregate — we use it to learn that a collection is popular, not to identify you. If you would rather not be counted, most browsers and extensions can block it, and we do not treat you differently for doing so.

Beyond these, this site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and order records are kept for as long as we may need them — to honour a claim, to answer a question about a past order, and to meet the record-keeping our accounts require. Beyond that we have no interest in holding on to your details.

Seeing or deleting your information

Message us and ask. We will tell you what we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, and delete what we are not required to keep. You can also ask us to take down a review you have written. There is no form to fill in — a WhatsApp message is enough.

Children

This shop is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If how we handle your information changes, this page changes with it. It describes what the site does today rather than what it might do one day, so it is the page to check if you want to know where you stand.
